Angling Holidays 

Galway South East's close proximity to the mighty River Shannon and Lough Derg boasting 18 miles of this  famous river between Banagher and Portumna which flows into the beautiful Lough Derg Ireland's Pleasure Lake the largest lake on the Shannon system  make it a prime angling destination,

The Lake and River Shannon is a natural mixed fishery offering suburb year round angling primarily for Pike, Perch, Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Rudd, Tench & Eel with a modest stock of wild Brown Trout which are most successfully fished during the Mayfly season.

These Coarse fish inhabit its depths and can be successfully fished from pegs developed by the Shannon Regional Fisheries Board on the river and from boats anchored alongside weed beds both on the river and the Lake. The Northern  Shores of Lough Derg which are fast becoming famous for remarkable consistent big catches of Bream

Equestrian Pursuits - Flowerhill Equestrian Centre

Flowerhill has a wide variety of holiday options Let us outline some of the equestrian features as well  as other activities 
 
Treasure hunts on horse back
This sport has been enhanced here at Flowerhill by the introduction of horses to the sport. Usually there are teams of three, but sometimes more take part. A list of clues is accepted by the captain of each team. The clues are set around the countryside and adjoining areas, cross country jumping is optional. We are normally very casual at Flowerhill Equestrian and our competitions are no exception. We suggest having children and adults together on .............

Cycling and Camping Holidays - Historical Tours

Welcome to Premier Cycling and Camping Holidays. Our cycling holidays are not an endurance test, you can travel at your ease, enjoy the views, attractions and amenities as you please.  Our accommodation providers are all Irish Tourist Board approved and very homely. We have 2 tours, so you have a choice of Tour A, which is scenic, while Tour B has a wide variety of interesting and historic sites.
